Default 97 Black on Black 5 Speed, only 38k miles...

I owned it for a few months, and sold it. One stipulation to the guy who bought it was, if he decided he didn't want to play with it. He had to sell it back to me.

Now I just have to figure out which kidney to sell.

I sold it for $16,000 a month after buying my GS. I'm buying it back for $15,000. I'm wondering if I should...I have a month to decide. This guy has 13 cars, mostly 70's muscle. The SC was just a pipe dream for him when I showed him Hal's 9sec 1/4 video.

I miss the SC, but the GS is more fun to mod.

Im excited about being able to get it back, but also a little apprehensive because I really cant tweak two Lexus's.

Yay or Nay?

I'm having a kid, so the GS stays. Plus that SC goes no where in the snow.

Get it back quick.... The 2nd gen GS looks like a dinosaur now and the SC still stands out as a true classic. Even get rid of the very dated looking GS.If you don't buy it then I will give the guy a suit case full of cash for it.

Oh dear lord I didn't think a car like that was still in existence. I am super happy with my 52k mile 5spd garnet on tan 92 sc300, I can't imagine a 97 5spd black on black with 38k... If you can't swing it, make sure it goes to a worthy owner!!!!!

really? its up to you.. i doubt anyone here is gonna give you the ultra mind changing comment, so i would just go with what you can afford, want, and need in your life atm. its rare, but if you had the guts to get rid of its once, it didn't mean that much to you! hope you make the right decision bro!

and I'd say no to buying your car back, get another very clean SC for a much lower price and think ahead as I just had a kid as well and they cost

If you got the money to spare.. then definitely get it back, when will you ever come across another haha. But like you said, you'll be having a kid so you're definitely going to have some extra responsibilities to work with. So really, it's all up to you and how your situation will turn out. Good luck with your decision!

That's b/c you own one brah lol. Personally, I never thought they were hot looking at all, even when they first came out. Funny how the 1st gen SC is a 20 year old design and I still get people who think it's a new car. You will never get that with the 2nd gen GS. I think Toyota was seriously high when they designed the 2nd gen GS and the 2nd gen SC, two of the ugliest designs I've ever seen from Lexus. Just my opinion though.

Is it just me....but do all of the new models look the frickin same, just in different sizes? Seems like Lexus got lazy.
