I've read that the Ebay high beams' aim is way off (like pointed to the sky)... but the lense swap to OEM high beams would be good

The quality of the actual Ebay high beam inner projector 'lense' is crap- I wouldn't recommend it. Here's the pic I was talking about- This person did a projector retro fit from some other car into the factory high beam housing as (I think) you were saying. Would be cool to add the clear lense on top:



Then would be kind of interesting to see some proper halo rings like you have in your lows. As another option, I've seen that done two different way... I hope you do decide to tackle 'something in this realm' b/c you're a creative person and I can only imagine it turning out superbadass- Here's the only examples I've ever seen in the high beams:

not a fan of the "outer circle" style, it looks like what it is - an oval, and it outlines the whole high beam lamp, whereas in the low-beam assembly the halo is around the projector only, not the whole lamp.

Man now you got me checking Ebay for some high beams and some halos to match my lows hahaa
