Post 5-speed vs Auto, so how many of you guys are auto?

I'll be in the market for an SC300 soon.
So here is the question that's killing me:
Do I hold out for a 5-speed SC300 or go for an auto SC400?

I know that the SCs aren't really sports cars, and mine will be mainly used for cruising, but I want to leave the option for 'Turbo SC300' open. Finding an good manual is freaking difficult.
I haven't driven an automatic in three years, and I don't like thoughts of going back, but it looks like I might have to.

So how many of you guys drive autos? What do you think? Do you regret buying an auto and wish that you had a manual?

if your gonna modify the car then definitly get an sc300 either way.....the 5spd is more fun to drive as you know but there are times where an auto is nicer <i.e traffic>...either way once you add a turbo kit the car really flys......and the stock auto tranny is pretty darn strong also.....so either way..i say try to find a good 5spd or get an auto sc300 and just add the turbo either way....you wont be dissapointed...i promise ....let me know when your ready to buy....i have seen several 5spds in fl recently...ill check em out for you when your ready to buy...Jeff

do you think its worth it to sell my 2k sc4, with the money, but a 95 sc3 or older 5 speed, good condition, low miles, etc, use the extra money for turbos and other mods, or keep my 2k sc4 with my stereo equip, my ecu, and exhausts?

Auto

I wanted a 5spd, but I am lucky enough to work at a performance shop so hopefully a 6spd will come my way If not I'll just build the auto and turbo it.

It's up to you toog4me. The sc400 is an extremely nice car. The sc300 has that turbo though and that's what get's me.

Then again there is always hope:

hope and reality are two very different things......people with superchargers hope to make as much power as a turbo but it just dosent happen.......i understand the dreams of the sc400 guys....but i dont see it as a reality without a crazy price tag.....sc300 is tried and true...over and over and over agian....if you want to modify ..get an sc300 and play away...youll love it and have cheaper insurance....
and i didnt post before but i have a 95 sc300 turbo 6speed....currently working on over 600rwhp...Jeff

my other option is buying either a 96 gs3 and doing the same stuff i would do to a sc3 or buy a 99 gs4 and put rims and a system in it... so im trying to debate... ide rather have one speed demon and one lix coupe, but im not sure which speed demon i want...
