okay i want to buy the sc300 not really feeling the v8 sc400 i like more of the mods that u can buy for the 300 but my questions is i can only find auto transmission sc300 is it worth the buy if i want to trick it out? i know u can make it into a 5speed manual but is it hard to find the tranny? and im still confused on the 1jz swap form the soarer is that better than keeping the original 2jz engine with a turbo? any info would help and tips on buy a car thanks oh and i want the car to be a daily driver but still be able to go fast not a total gear thanks

best thing to do is search..but taste between the 1j and stock 2j or a 2j-gte swap all comes down to personal choice. the stock auto in the SC can handle enough power to have a reliable daily driver..but use the search function, do some good reading and you will have all your questions answered within 20 minutes or less..good luck

If you don't mind driving auto I would recommend getting a SC400 with as few owners as possible. If you wanna boost it, get the sc300 and make sure you be patient and find a clean 5spd or you will regret it!

5 speed swap will cost you anywhere from 1200-2000 from what i've read...
and decide if your buying a 97+ ones with the updated side skirts and bumpers, i think it looks nice but you can also buy a cheap one so you have more money to do the mods yourself =)

yeah well thanks u guys and sorry im new here i did a little searching now and figured out the 1ufze is only auto tran stock so thats good im thinking a 2jz-ge stock engine with a 5speed manual tranny and do intake and headers good exhaust system and a turbo with a good intercooler in the future or maybe the supra swap! i like this its a new deal im selling the honda haha and i am addicted already thanks! im going to wait for a 5speed one hopefully i find one but in the IE its hard
