To all you people who i said overpayed for their SCs
#22
Dude...we're in a freakin depression. Someone is liable to pick up a mint sc430 for $15k in this economy if someone gets desperate enough. Hell I have a friend that was just about to buy a 3 bed/3bath townhouse in Boca Raton, FL for 85k, was in foreclsure, which had a market value of 300k just a year ago.
I have the same car you just bought in near mint condition with 68k and 1 owner for $13 k two years ago and it was worth every cent. The economy two years ago was not the same economy as today. Deals are everywhere now b/c unemployed people are getting desperate so they sell their stuff for pennys on the dollar.

LOL.
I paid 4750 for a 92 sc400, with 99k miles, a ton of problems, and im happy.
You aren't making any point by putting the thread as "to all you people who i said overpayed for their SCs"
wtf does that even mean? No one really cares about your opinion unless they specifically asked "did i pay too much?"
Sometimes people on here act like they are Messengers from God and tell everyone else they are right and that you aren't.

Who give a ish, all you have proven is you can't afford the current market value or you are cheap. I think I got killer deals on both my SC's because I was not looking for a car and I just happen to be at the right place at the right time. However; when I bought my GS, I paid an arm and a leg for it. For one, I can and I got what I wanted when I wanted, didn't have to, didn't want to wait for cheaper deals, time is money.
FYI, "Great condition" does not mean having broken, non working, damaged equipment

A good deal is a good deal...if you have the finances then how much you spend shouldn't be an issue...so don't ask if 4-5-8K for this car is a good deal or not if your financially stable..... but,for most of us money is the first to think about...from personal experience patience pays off at the end!!!....i looked for 3 months daily and finally found a Black 93' 5 speed 101.xxx miles 18'rims,intake blah blah in solid condition for $3400...im happy

I think its funny how some of you guys are hating already. This thread isnt me bragging but the exact opposite. Its to show you guys that paying 8k+ for an sc in the same condition i bought mine for is ludicrous. Maybe a couple of years ago it was okay but now, HELL NO. Some of your guys might find this strange but i personally dont like getting ripped off. Crazy i know.
Anyways i have been busy today buying general maintenance parts from the dealership. And guess what, i know how to talk to the parts department guys so i actually get-thats right-good prices. Here are some more pics i just took.
