I just bought a 1998 sc400 platinum metallic 1a0 with black interior @ 130k miles for 5500. The antenna is broken, the climate control backlight is half dead, the headlights are cloudy and the cd changer doesnt work. Besides that the car is in good condition for a 98.

 

I bought a 1997 black on black with one owner. Everything working condition not even cracks on the vents. 120k $4k........

Well if you want to brag... I sold a supercharged SC400 for 5K. That guy got hooked up.

Got mine for 400 bucks. For the same price as OEM taillights, i got a car.

 

Who gives a damn what you paid for your new sc...... Go to work , make your money, pay what you want, GET what you want.

 

Timing is everything in used cars, right place at the right time. Consequently Im usually not at that place.

 

I paid 7k for mine a couple of years ago, but to me it was worth every penny.

You'll pay more for the convenience and have less frustrations, headaches and more enjoyment sooner if you find the one you want immediately. 6k vs 4k isn't that much of a difference to sit around and search for a car everyday IMO. From 4k to 8k, maybe... 8k vs 20k, yes.
