The owners manual recommends that you use Premium grade fuels only for the SC. That means 91 or higher. I only run 91, 100, or C16.

92 octane and up, no exceptions, I'm worried even when I use 92 instead of 93 or 84.

I use 91 cuz that's the only thing available to me. Its at least a 45 min drive if I want to use anything higher.

Nope, in Australia, its 91, 95 or 98 right out of the pump.

I understand that in Japan they run 100 octane on 1JZ's, so 98 is as close as I can get.....

Premium only. Usually 93 octane but I found a station with 94. I would love to run e85 when i boost her but the closest station with it to me is in Ft. Lauderdale.

maybe i did my math a little quick... even if it's 30 cents... $3 more for every 10 gallons. not a bank breaker...

Its not only that, you actually get better mileage running higher octane fuel which makes up the extra cost of that 93

Everyone in socal gets screwed. Our octane levels read like this. 87 - 89 - and 91 is our premium
