I have a lot of forcefully-inducted Mustang buddies who run E85. It's 106 octane, basically race gas for cheaper than regular unleaded. Good stuff if you need the octane and have the right setup for it.

In the US 93 is equivalent to 98 outside the US due to differences in the way octane is calculated. 94 US is 100 international.
All fuel is roughly the same, however, additives are what you pay for in the brand. Exxon, Hess, Sunoco, Spot Market stations don't use any additives. Shell uses a fairly lightweight additive that's pretty close to Toluene, but chemically different to reduce NOx emissions to meet federal requirements. Chevron's Techron is an fuel system/top end detergent and lubricant that's fairly heavy weight in comparison to Shell additives. BP's "Invigorate" is identical to Shell's additives. Texaco is Chevron so Techron is present in Texaco as well.
That's all the additives I can think about. What's weird is my engine throws a CEL if I run anything but shell. Figure that one out.

89 or 93. Had another SC400, and the previous owner ran nothing but 87. There were acceleration problems, so I never put 87 in at all, made sure the previous owner of the new SC4 had receipts to prove the grade of gas.
