Howie,
please update your sig to reflect the new pictures of your HID equipped SC300. Looking at an Accord with a body kit is depressing.

Why?
They looked really nice in the pics. They were the 6000k versions, right?

Whew! 'Bout time you changed up that sig howie But why did you cut out the headlight? That's distinctively the best part of our cars!

I have that same dartiness feeling in my car. I'm running Kumho 255/40/18's all around on 18x8 wheels. Offset...umm....I don't remember.

But ya on the interstate I have huge problems in the work zones, where the road is uneven. I just live with it, because I don't think it's going away anytime soon :/

But what about tire warble?? Does anyone have that. It is the woo woo sound that is pretty loud. (And i'm not talkin' about Jeffrey Osborne for you R&B fans)

That is the killer. I don't mind the possibity of being decapitated by a head on collision, the tire noise is what gets on my nerves.

Peace

hoops, thx for the pleasant thoughts I don't have any warble, then again the systems always bumpin', but now we can drop some science, since I have the Kumhos also, like Steven. Hmm, makes me think, but Peter Scott has them also I believe, and I think he said he was very happy. It's just gotta be that a certain combination of tyre brand, offset, and alignment can produce this effect. Agreed?

That's crazy man. I HAD Kumho 712's before I went with the Potenza. Maybe I will go back to the "cheap" tire. I never should have switched because they were good to me and they have a nice sidewall design. Well, maybe you just saved from plunkin' down $3k on some rims.
I have to run these bull**** Potenza's down first though.

Keep the 411 comin' though.

Yeah, I had planned on getting the BFG G-Force KD, but I made the mistake of bringing my girlfriend with me to pick up the rims and tyres, she saw the bill, you know the rest. I'm happy with them for what I paid for them, i've had them up to 137 against my friend's worked 2000 Si and they were pretty ok, they're great in the rain, they are by no means great tyres, but for the money you can't beat them, they're the same carcass as the Victoracer, but if they have anything to do with a dartiness problem, then Deb is catchin' one monster beatin' tonight!

Default NTB...

Alright, I got my car alingned at NTB (National Tire & Battery) and I'd suspect that they don't do anything right. First, when the balanced the wheels, the put the weights on the OUTSIDE of the rim -- They were pasted onto the lip of the wheel! Second, I've got the tell-tale out of alignment uneven tread wear on all 4 wheels. Additionally, I'll some times get the train tracking issue. If I was to venture a guess, it'd be that NTB never aligned the car correctly. I read on I believe MKIV that a good alignment takes a LONG time to do. especially on a lowered car. If I was having your problem hoops, I'd pull out my reciept to NTB (6 month warenty) and make sure the goons aligned all 4 wheels, and put the weights on the INSIDE of the rim...

But I'm looking into new rims & tires, so it doesn't make a differance.

just my .02
