Complete Repaint Color. Pearl Garnett 3k3 or Matador Red 3R1?

As some of you have known, my car was hit last fall in the rear quarter panel and has been waiting for the longest for a complete repaint ever since. During that time, I have been catching up on maintenance, bought new tires (19 inch tires can be very expensive), scavenged a few parts to a minor makeover, and, most importantly, shopped around for a body shop that would do good work but not bend me over, charging me $4000 to do the work.
So now that I have found a body shop who's work have been confirmed to be good, I need to do a few minor work such as repainting my Supra BBKs, rolling the fenders etc before sending it in. I might make changes to the body mods that I am putting on too.
Anyhow, I am undecided whether to keep my Pearl Garnett 3k3 color or not. I love pearl red out of all of the colors on the Lexus line-up, especially how it glows under the bright sun. However, the I really like the updated pearl red - Matador Red Mica - on the newer 3rd gen Lexus cars.

The cool thing is that both of the colors are super close so no need to paint door jams or anything like that.
I think there are more pros to the going with Matador Red
1. I've had this car since 2005 so it making it look different would be a huge plus
2. Matador Red is a newer color so touch up paint should be easy to source

I'd go with 3R1, I paid less than $4k for my 3R7 and that included door jambs, removal of all windows, trims, door handles, side mirrors, bumpers, etc...Squeeze them a bit, labor's cheap nowadays..Good luck!

i voted for 3k3 only because i love my car's color...
but you may want to post up another picture of the other red because I think the one you posted is an HDR photo, which can make the color look different than it really is
