Default Summer dash dye project

Well I spent my Sunday trying to find the correct paint/dye to start my dash project. After 5 stops I found VHT dye @ Baxter's. I just wanted to do a test piece, but once I got started.... well you guys know the drill.

What ya think?

Looks great, let me know if it works on carpet i would like to dye my trunk carpet black but im afraid it will feel hard and nasty afterwards.

P.S. how much was it and how much dye do you use..... does it get used up quickly or does it go a long way???

The VHT was 10.00 per can. and for the bottom dash section only I used 1 1/2 cans doing 3 coats. I also used a surface cleaner made by SEM. I just followed the directions and it went a ways

Do a write up or take some pics on removing the dash if you can!I keep telling myself I'm going to do this but I see it taking alot longer than a weekend like everyone says.
