ouch.. just got hit. what should i do?
Hi guys, so I just got hit the other day while in the parking lot. in my experience the car is never the same after repair. Its a 92, so the paint will be really hard to match, right? It looks like the entire panel will have to be replaced -- if they replace the panel and start taking things apart, I'm almost certain I'll be hearing a ton of rattles in the future. Should I just have them pull it and bondo it or have a piece cut and welded from a donor car? I'm no body expert so hopefully you guys with more experience can chime in. Thanks in advance!

Same thing happened to my car. The other guy's insurance paid me 1600 with no questions asked
So that money is going to my conversion and complete repaint
If its out of your pocket, fixing that quarter panel is about 500-800

If you have collision coverage, have your insurance take care of it. Same thing happened to me last year. Hit and run. My insurance replaced the panel. No squeeks or rattles. Just make sure you take it to a reputable collision shop.

thanks for the input guys.. the guy that hit me had insurance so hopefully they'll take care of it. i'm just pissed that it had to hit that area
anyway, i'll probably just cash out on it and use the money for something else right now since cash is tight.. then when times are better I'll do it up with a green --> 97 body in black conversion
