Motorized steering column delete? (supra swappable
So last night after looking the SC, i realized that not only is the motorized steering column unnecessary, but its probably super freakin heavy!
Was that an option or standard? And if it was standard, can a supra non-motorized supra unit be installed instead.

Gah! I like my Super Memory power tilt/slide steering column on my V8. My turbo one has a manual tilt/slide column and I much prefer the powered version.

I deleted the memory functions, wired in 2 window switches to control the motors. Works like OEM.

Seems like the 92-93s had a lot of base cars that they quit making.

I agree, these things are pretty heavy. Ive disconnected one before. I bet you can get one to fit off of a Supra. The two big bolts at the bottom have to line up and you can get the ball rolling on the rest. I wouldn't want to sacrifice these features though.
