Also, does anyone know the correct dimensions? I would measure my steering wheel, but the SC is in the shop right now, and I'd like to go ahead and order.

I don't know the dimensions but the "official" color of the darker brown in your interior is oak. That should be the match.

Went ahead and ordered the oak, and for future readers of this thread, I came up with 15.25"x3.75", which is a size AXX.

Any comments on how good the color matching of the oak wheel skin was?

Or how the quality/fitment of they were?

I might be interested in one in the near future and would love to hear your comments!

Definaltly interested. Also, does anyone have any experience with that leather repair stuff? I need to fix that slight crack on my door sill before it gets bigger, as well as a small place on my seat.

Alright, I ordered the oak color but somehow received the black instead. I didn't mind since it matches my center console. the size is AXX. I like the feel of it-much better than the original, esp it's a little softer and bigger to grip. hmmm...

Whoa! You got it so quickly?
How much was that and did you install it yourself?
If so, how did you get the stitching so tight?

It took less than a week to receive my order. I'm not good with the needles but it was quite simple to install (about half an hour to install). I think the main factor (which gives it a nice tight-looking stitches) is the size of the of the wheelskin I order (size AXX).

here is the site where I ordered mine. $29.95

I you guys want to "step up" to a full re-wrap, please let me know, it's in the low $200 range for real leather re-wrap and they have options for 1/16" and 1/8" padding to increase the thickness of the steering wheels.

This thread is the group buy for wood/leather but they can also do leather only...

Although a re-wrap is more expensive, it won't look so...uh..."Pepboyish"...

The oak does not match at all. In fact, it looks so off that I am going to order a black one just to replace it. Other than the color, the fit and finish is great. Much better grip on the wheel, and the AXX is perfect. Go with black if you have a tan interior.

Guys, trust me. None of the Wheelskins colors match (unless you have the black interior). I ordered two different wheel covers, and ended up not liking either one.

Do yourself a favor, and call your Lexus dealer to find out who they use to repair leather upholstery. For $45, I had my steering wheel AND gear shifter restored to brand new condition. They sand it down, and re-finish it to a perfect match.

Remeber: you're driving a Lexus. Don't settle for second best by installing a cover.
