Default Airbag Sensor (Yellow Box)

I understand everything about this "yellow box", but I need advice. I hit a HUGE pothole and my airbag sensor box actually disconnected completly from the harness (apparently it wasn't attached very well). Would the "air bag" light go off if I connect another yellow box sensor from a parts car? Sort of like a plug-n-play idea. I'm afraid there might be consequences and...Boom air bag goes through the dash...Thanks In Advance and I have a 93' SC400 if it makes a difference.
