If anyone wants to come checkout the DGR LS GS in person it's on display at the Falken area at FormulaD Irwindale. I'll be there all day tomorrow and have a mount in case you want to take a closer look at the quality part.

i agree as well.if you had a bunch of money to do a Japanese V8,more power to you.but if you wanted to do something that was proven time and time again go with the lsx engine.I love my Japanese cars, that's all i've owned.but give credit where its due.I have 2 friends that is doing sum radical swaps w the lsx.1 is going into a 93 240sx,and the other one is going im a 92 foxbody stang.
ill keep you guys posted

if people were worried about weight they could use an aluminum block/head 6.0 or 6.2 out of an escalade. imho. ls based engines are the best v8 in the world hands down. they are ultra reliable, readily available, you can buy them from gm shiped to your door in a crate for just about any application (talkin about power needs here). there is really no comparison. hell, theyre even fuel efficient. if i could get a decent deal on a donor sc id build one. as a gm certified tech. i could knock it out relatively fast
