This was the origional reason why I got the SC, plus nothing was sexier to me than staggered wheels!
After seeing other Sc's modded and turboe'd I agree with that staement x100!!

Saw my first SC when I was a kid in middle school when they first came out. My jaw dropped at the styling. I did not know cars that well at the time and did not appreciate the mechanical engineering in the car. A few years later at the car show I got to check out a demo and play with all of the electrical stuff cause Lexus was the only exhibitor to use a 12 volt power supply on the demos.
I was broke until college was over. When I graduated on 02 the 98+ cars were still in the $18K-25K range. I was not going to pay that much for a used car so my SC plan was on hold.
Then I found one in 08 that had been babied. The stock market crashed in 08 and the seller lowered the price to below what I was willing to pay.
The look of the car is the main reason I got one. It was way ahead of its time and I have drooled over the styling since I was a kid.

I didnt even know sc is a wussy version of supra, i bought it because i thought they look nice, sporty and luxury at the same time. Especially w/ AC body kit, look a lot better than Supra!! IMO

I saw one drive past one day, and asked my friend what it was. He said he forgets what it's called, but knows its a Soarer in Japan. I looked it up and fell in love withe the design, and ESPECIALLY the interior. That was the real selling point.

Where I grew up you was doing things if you had a Legend or a ES300/ GS300 and really Willie if you had a LS or Q. When the SC dropped. It had the hood on smash. You didn't see too many of them come through but when they did come through everyone would stop and stare at the spaceship.
Now a days you see people getting old school cars from their past, so this is my old school.
