I tried street driving with a 4 point harness for about 2 days once. It gets embarrassing when you try to reach for a soda at the drive-thru and you can't. Or try to grab something off other seat and you swing at air or worse when paper work starts flying out the passenger side window and you can't do a damn thing about it because you can't move.

Not to mention schroths are the one and only brand of 4 point harness that's DOT legal tmk and you're asking to get stopped or get a ticket everytime you drive unless you have one.
It's my daily driver, but I don't drive many places. I can count on one hand the amount of times I've been to a drive thru with my car in the 2 years I've owned it. I don't even have cupholders in the car, so there goes that idea.

I'll definitely be going with a Schroth harness, and the cops around here don't give me much trouble, much less for a seatbelt. I don't wanna screw around with buying belts that are any less than what I need. No ebay stuff here.

I also make it a point to say I don't drive any car without putting on my seatbelt first, so I'm not gonna fool around with my safety.

I bought it for 95 cents at Advance auto parts, I figured while I prep the car for paint, I'll be dirty and will have to get in/out of it, so i installed the cover for the time being so it can get dirty instead of my seats.

I havent been out in public with it, nor do I plan on it, lol
got ya! i'm glad there was a reasonable explanation for this...haha.

I wont lie tho, wrapping the airbag in leather is probably the best thing to do. I actually have a second airbag, so i'll do that one day when i get around to it.
