Default MKIV Supra OEM radio in Sc?

i have a few lights burnt out in my radio in my 96SC3. and i don't have any tapes anymore. So i was wondering if i can put my friends stock 97 Supra radio in the car without any problems?

also if it fits and the wiring is easy to do is it possible to keep the factory CD Changer?

just looking for a cheap alternative to buying a $500+ headunit.

Thanks much.

Get a Supra and Lexus FSM from www.clubna-t.com

Next, just match up the wires. There isn't really any reason it wouldn't be able to work. Theoretically, any standard DIN radio, OEM or not, can be wired to any car.

But why not get a cheap headunit from ebay? I got my Pioneer AVIC-D2 Navigation double din for 150 shipped.

came with everything minus the antenna, which was about 40 bucks. I love the unit, best bang for the buck and you can put custom backgrounds on it.
