My new '99 sc400!!!
So here she is boys and girls, 1999 sc400!
I flew down to Phoenix to pick it up, and drove it back to Vancouver. Import process went smoothly, and the car runs, looks, feels like new. The previous owner was fastidious about keeping it maintained, all maintenance done with receipts in hand (saved me a few grand)!!
Anyways, plans are simple; keep it clean, as close to (or better than) stock ride.
- Lower (thinking Comfort Sports, but I'm not convinced cuz they dont go very low).
- Wheels (no idea what though, there's millions of possibilities, but thinking Gold? GunMetal? ..defiantly 19's tho).
- HID's (down the road).
Heh, went to a small photoshoot meet literally 2 hours after I insured it, gotta love it!
The first photo was 4 hours after I bought it, at the Hoover Dam..
..by the way, I'm sure most of you know already, but the Gold SC is 'Kaydee'

excuse my car for being kinda dirty. Anyways look at my oem floor mat. Your one doesnt match the factory floor mat shape.
Now look at my lower radiator grill.
Its got the BLACK radiator garnishes so the middle bar looks like its missing the supports. While your bumper without the garnishes has a criss cross grid shape. The only time i have seen 97+ bumpers without those is when they were repainted/replaced and the body shop was lazy and didnt put them back on. That and when people are lazy and dont get them for their 97+ conversions
BTW my car is a 92 dwp and that front bumper is a 99 golden peril. 99-00 arent 051 but 057. Its a slight difference and almost unnoticeable unless you are really looking.

But, interesting observation regarding the grille. I never noticed that. As far as I know nothing has been repainted on the car though. The owner said that there was a small incident with a shopping cart from the owner before him, but he couldnt tell what, if anything was repainted. And neither me or my dad can tell that anything has been repainted either..
