My aunt has this weird thing where she doesn't like selling cars. She just gives em to us. We got a 1991 Galant and now this 1997 Lexus SC300.
I'm PREETTTY sure this will be my car. I'm going to try and buy it from my dad for book value. Cruised around in it tonight, and it's crazy smooth. The ride, the motor, everything.
It does need some attention. There's some bubbling on the passenger door, and the front bumper has lots of stress fractures. The interior is in great shape minus one tear (can be seen by glove box in picture).
Please excuse the terrible pictures, my camera sucks at night. I'll have some better ones tomorrow.
Apparently there were only 120 manuals produced in 1997. It's too bad my aunt didn't care for it better.
I'm considering boosting the 2JZ to about 400whp or so. Nothing too crazy. Any ideas on good turbo's for something like that?
The car is covered in bugs, didn't have time to wash her up. I'll do so tomorrow.
I'll be installing an HID kit here pretty soon.
A little bubbling. I'm going to try and get this repaired. I have no experience with stuff like this though.
Sweet floormatts though...
TWO JAY ZEEEEEE!
Front bumper doesn't quite fit right either. I think when it was bumped, it pushed the headlight back. I'm thinking about starting to look for a new front bumper.

Thanks for all your support, the floor mats will probably stay for a while. I kinda like em. They're quirky.
