if its coming on perfect without the relay, why are you worried about the relay so much.
I don't run a relay on either of my SC's
info on wiring and stuff anyways

Well only reason i am worried about putting relay on is, i saw couple of fourms that say your main connection/plug for your headlights melt???

chances are those people electrical system was already messed up.
I have been running my ebay ones for almost 2 years with no relay.
I leave my lights on automatic too, which some people say is the killer of HID's.
I have yet to burn a bulb or ballast or any wires.
our cars use 55w bulbs regularly. once fired up most hid's are rated at 35w.
the reason for the relay in any car would be if the ballast is having a hard time firing the bulb up, it needs a better voltage signal.
another reason would be if the HID's require more watts than the original bulbs the car came with. I.E. 35w fogs or whatever. It should say on the ballast what it requires.
