were they rubbing on stock suspension?
because im thinking of getting the same tires on sum xxr 962's
18x8.5 and 18x9.5 +35 all around
This is on Tein CS. Rears were raised to keep from rubbing. As long as you get the right tire sizing you'll be just fine. If your on stock suspension you'll be fine too.
After seeing the price of the Shine kit, I'm not sure if I'd get it over the AC kit. The fitment would have to be 100% (like AC) for me to justify skipping the original and going with the knock-off.
I guess we'll know when this thread is completed.
I hear what you are saying, the real AC kit is less than a grand more. BUT!
The Shine kit is a better version honestly due to the flexablility of the material.
How flexible is the AC kit by the way? Are most high end Japanese kits as flexible as the Shine one? I think the Wald kit is pretty flexible as well too. My Vertex 1997+ front lip is super flexible as well too.
AC kit is flexible as well, FRP is pretty flexible material. Shine does a good job pointing out the flex in their version of the kit.
GB price for AC kit is only around 1600, not sure if i would skim on the original and jump on the shine kit for 1100. The difference is only 500. Something for you guys to consider.

It is very flexible, but it also depends on how the laminators make them, like too much resin, layers of fiberglass.. etc
