I have this noise from my car everytime I park and leave the car..
It's from the bottom of car around front tires, I'm guessing it's from Three way catalytic converter but not sure.
it sounds like hitting the metal. I thought it's normal so I never ask here but lately I wonder if anything wrong with it.

Does anyone have this noise from the bottom of car?

I heard that is a normal noise from the cats but who knows. I am thinking about taking my car to a muffler shop to have them check my cats. $100 for a high flow cat and my car has 61K on it so maybe it will be a worthwhile investment ..

Same here. There was a thread about this a couple of weeks ago. As far as I remember, the bottom line was that it's normal (although pretty annoying)

Got the same noise also...I believe it is the exhaust metal cooling off.
