Our 93 sc400 is at 176,000, original engine, not a drop of oil on floor. Can't send photo of mileage as cluster out to LLS. Just have to get heater working before fall! It was stated that every sc400 not wrecked is still running?!?

i have 254,??? on the original 2j and trans, the 1j was olny in there for 800 miles, and i drive the car, Really drive the car

i have a 93 sc300 at 123,763... original engine and not a drop of oil on floor either =) ... but i do have a needle out =(

Im almost at 180k and turboed it at 170k... these cars seem indestructable

Take GOOD care of it and most of you guys should be fine.

Change fluids before the recommended intervals.
Use correct fluids such as the factory coolant and transmission oil.
Use synthetic oil
Use OEM parts for critical things that cannot easily be replaced
Replace stuff when given the chance rather than wait til failure ie valve cover seals, water pump, etc

Don't be cheap. Maintenance before Mods.

I am at 197k

i am waaaay over 200K. Runs like new & doesn't leak a thing.... Like xknowonex says, maintain your $h!t...........

Certainly not Ford.

My clock is reading about the same amount of mileage as your clock. I feel it can go way longer. But soon enough I'll have to say goodbye to the GE and replace it with a GTE. I love my SC.
