Default Key fob and hard to push buttons

Anyone know of a fix or have any ideas on how to fix the button problem on our remotes? I have to push really hard to unlock my car. And as for locking and trunk button, those I have to push a little hard to work.

Take it apart...remove the battery. Clean with 91% rubbing alcohol.

Is there a way to take apart the transmitter? The only screws on it are for the battery cover.

I wish I could update the key fob from my '95 to that key fob. Looks better, and the un/lock button is 100x harder to push!

Sorry didn't see the pic the first time. The new fobs are sealed really well, you might want to just clean the rubber surrounds well

im pretty sure it's a battery problem, im having the same issues with my Viper unit. Cleaned up the area around the battery, helped a bit but im sure the battery is going out the door.
