Default Audio Question

My Factory Nakamichi amp Blew. If I wanted to replace it with a Aftermarket Amp.

1. How many channels will be enough?
2. How much Wattage is Good?

Please note that I'm only trying to keep the same sound quality!!!!

Please Help

Word of advice: Not enough power will kill your speakers before too much power will. Get the power that you can afford.

I'd recommend getting a 5 channel amp to power front, rears and subs. It will equalize your power across all five speakers. Watch out for factory equalization in the head unit. It may take away from the potential of an aftermarket amp.

if you arent planning on upgrading everything just look around for a stock replacement amp, personally i would just replace the radio, bypass the amp and be done with it..... You might also want to try the AUDIO section here: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/lex...lectronics-12/
