that sc is Nice. keep it and come back harder. only thing is, if it is a hit against you theyd probably come back and see it fixed back up, and try that bs again. so i agree with the security investments (cameras, dogs, bazookas) if you are goin to fix it back up. if it just a random hater, f em.

My sc400 was vandalized in california a few months ago. The damage from key scratches amounted to $7800.
My car is a 95 w/190K miles. Car was worth $3200 to the insurance company before the damage. I could have retained salvage for $1100.
When I tried to find a replacement sc400 for that I found 93's and 94's that were wrecked for $3000. Illogical/unrepresentative perhaps??
I fought with the insurance company for an "appearance allowance". This made it so my car wouldn't total (keep the clean title) and I got issued a check for $2500 to make any repairs I deemed necessary, but a clause for NO supplemental repairs.
Thought that information may help you make a decision about the car.
The insurance companies do not give a hoot about any of the modifications you've made. None. It's unfortunate.
I would keep the car if I were you. Use the insurance money to get a pair of Vertex wide fenders from LuxuryMods.com and body and paint repairs.

yeah, I'm actually leaning more towards keeping it, but if someone offers me a good deal for it, I probably would take it. The SC is looks just how I wanted it to look, just need the 1JZ and a three spoke steering wheel.
