Mine is becoming my new money pit replacing my LX450 which I supercharged, lifted 3 times to get to six inches, put on 35" tires and 4.88 gears, Armour all around, 12000lb winch etc etc. Now I am supercharging My SC400. It begins all over again. I drive both equally the SC400 more for hwy and summer and the Lx450 for winter and towing my boat. Which also was a money pit for a time with a complete rebuild using composite materials and a custom 383 SBC build etc etc. Oh no... I seem to be exposing a pattern.
My SC is far from a DD, I have a slammed IS for that. It basically never leaves the garage, I just pull it out to wash it and maybe cruise along A1A. Since buying the SC in October of 2007, I've racked up about 4,500 miles. If it's a nice night, I go for a drive after work sometimes. It's def a money pit though.
Daily Driver and money pit only cuz of having to fill it up so often. Very reliable considering the fact that it's singled and on Haltech e6x and driven about 250 miles a week.
I always love taking a day off because I forgot a part for my latest project, patiently waiting for it to be overnighted. Damned daily driver money pits!!!
