1uz-fe - electronic - OBD ii - ecu
hi, this is my first time posting on this site, sorry if i am not posting in the right category or anything like that.
I have a 1993 Lexus SC400 (1uz).
Does it have an OBD-II connection in the car or one at all? I know there is a diagnostic port under the hood but that's it.
Secondly, if it does not, I read that in the US (im in Canada so i think this applies to me, correct me if im wrong), that in 1996 the OBD-II became a standard for all vehicles there. I am wondering if I can add one, like changing the ecu with a 1996 or 1997 ecu so that i can have the port?
Thanks in advance.

And I don't think changing the computer is possible without swapping the whole motor because of the involvement of extra sensors for odbii.
