Well today when I was installing my new bulbs I ran into a problem. This was my first time. I was following instructions that I found on here but I can't find where this thingy connects to. Please help... Picture for reference.

Those look like 97+ fog lights but pre97 should be the same. That wire should connect to the fog light casing cap also. You should be able to see where it connects.

Their 95's but I do not see what your talking about in the closing cap. The only thing I see in the closing cap is the socket to plug in the new bulb

I have no idea what im looking at in your picture. Ive done HID fogs on my brother's 95 and it took me 2 mins per side.

Edit: Its a ground. If you're replacing your fog light bulb with an OEM replacement it should be obvious as to where it should hook up. I think it screws on to the base of the bulb.

I found out what it connects to on the outer rim of the bulb socket you slide it into the tab
