Default Future sc owner looking for advice!

I know on most forums posting a thread like this would get me flamed but it seems more friendly here.. I've been looking into an sc for a while now, I'm on the search for a 5speed sc3. I'll probably be picking one up in the next few months. Im about to be 17 and in highschool but already working and got some money in the bank for it. Not really asking anything in specific, just wondering if theres any thing I should really know about SCs. Major issues (which I havent really seen) or things I should look out for.. Any help would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks!

Do a search for the "you know you're an SC owner" Thread. I'm pretty sure that covers the basics

Yeah, 5 speeds are getting harder and harder to find. You could just find an SC300 with an A/T and convert it, wouldn't be very hard and not too expensive.

Common problems: A/C condenser, LCA bushings, Climate screen and needles, CD changer, moisture in headlights, antenna, power steering, but almost nothing motor or transmission related unless they were seriously beat on. These motors are bullets and the transmissions are very good to, its just that the auto's are worthless and kill all the fun, but there are ways to get around that. Also try using the search feature for any other discussions on this.

Also where in Florida are you from?
