Default Radio Volume is fading....

I know someone out there has an answer to this question. A few weeks ago, the volume on my system started to fade after a few minutes. I checked out all of the posts pertaining to this problem and have tried and tried again to fix the problem. I checked the orange connector under the rear seat, I've replaced the amplifier that is under the CD changer and I've checked every other connector that I could think of. Nothing! Then, an even stranger thing happened. When I reconnected my CD changer the system works fine and sounds great. It's only when the radio is on. Any suggestions? By the way, I have a 93 SC300.

Default Radio volume is fading...

I'm narrowing down the problem. After running the CD player I've noticed that only the front speakers and the rear left speaker works. When I fade to the right rear, I hear nothing. Could that be the amp. next to the rear center speaker? Does anyone know how to remove it?

sounds like the headunit could be bad, possibly a bad FM tuner for the fading in and out and the other issues could be the same, Also the right rear speaker could be blown causing the issues you have, disconnect the right rear speaker and test it to see if its blown or not you could be overlooking the obvious since the car is 16-17 years old they don't last forever and probably haven't been changed before.
