I just got my car and I love it... This is just for people that are selling their cars for under $4500... Besides, my 99 SC400 does not qualify since the website claims that I get 19miles/gallon. Anything 18miles/gallon and under qualifies.

I played around with the year range and looks like 1997 is the cutoff that will qualify..... I post this thread because I see tons of SC300/400 on craigslist that are going for well under $4000. This could be your chance.

So hurry.. 92-97 SC300/400 your cars qualify for this program.

just remember that the car has to have been insured and owned for atleast one full year. And that they will give you $4500 if the new vehicle gets average of atleast 10mpg more. $3500 otherwise

You are going to love this Matt. So I was searching for sc300's for sale in the area and I noticed a 5 speed sc300 with 150k was listed but no price. I emailed thinking I could possibly pick up another car and got this in response.

O man the .gov is retarded. Some of those cars could be parted out or even sold to someone who cant afford a new car even with the program but no lets pour **** in the motor to destroy it then crush the car so all it can now do is take up space at a land fill genius....not
