It's not too bad though, mostly just scuffing and some scratches. I'll post up some pics in a bit here.

Here's the story though. I made a left turn from the inside lane, so I was in the left lane after the turn. I then saw someone stopped in my lane up ahead and I thought he was waiting to make a left, so I merged to the right, in front of an oldsmobile. I had a decent amount of room. I could see one of his headlights in my rear view mirror. After I merged, I realized that there was a crosswalk, and that was the reason the car was stopped. I saw a guy peek around the stopped car, so I had to slam on my brakes. I stopped in time, but the guy behind me didn't. I got his number (I called him to make sure it was his) and his name, but forgot his plate number and whatnot. He said he'd rather not go through insurance so I didn't bother with any of that. I'm taking it in for a quote tomorrow. Hopefully it'll just need a repaint. It doesn't look cracked or anything.

1siksc, I'll let you know. It doesn't look cracked or anything, just scuffed and scratched, but if paint ends up being a lot or it ends up being cracked I might just take you up on that. thanks man.

Ya this was at around 7:45. I would probably be pissed if I was in his spot too, but I told him how I didn't see the guy crossing the street until the last second, and he said he didn't see the guy until after he hit me. Who knows, if I wasn't in front of him, maybe he would have taken out the guy.

 

I'm gonna take some tomorrow morning. You can't see the damage at night with a camera because it's mostly white scuffs and scratches. They just look like reflections of light, if anything at all.

Try Polishing compound followed by turtle way, worked wonders for me ,

 

I guess the camera just isn't catching it well, I don't see much damage at all.
