SC400... Because being different has its good sides.

Plus... not mod friendly? There are plenty of things you can do... Including manual swap... which is the only downfall about the SC400 factory.

^^^I agree about that being it's downfall^^^

I bet if it came with a 6 speed, it'd be more popular than the 300.

well I think i will go with the sc300 5speed the bad part is the car has around 189,000 miles so if i dont like it ill look for a clean sc400 i dont want to do a lot of mods maybe a turbo charger or super charger on either one down the road just basic mods but right now i like the sc400 with less miles

oh and to the guy with the smart a** comment make sure u know wat ged stands for sorry if my ENGLISH isnt perfect for u

could we PLEASE use punctuation?
For me i got a sc3 just because i wanted a stock 5spd without having to swap one in. I'm not huge on torque, so I don't need what the V8 would offer me, my only "need" is a mt just because i wouldn't want a 2nd car that's more boring than my daily driver.

I got one because it was cheap. I needed a second car AND the 300 came with a 5speed. That being said...it is not as reliable as I hoped but it is getting there.

Well, the "e" doesn't stand for ENGLISH.

The only problem with modding the 400 is the aftermarket support, or lack thereof. A blower or turbo setup on a 1UZ is not a bolt-on affair.

sc300 because

-im already familiar with the 2jz-gte with my previous MKIV supra TT, so working on the GE is relatively easy
-5 speed. Autos just suck the life out of driving
-Easy to install turbo kit which pretty much bolts right on other than drilling a hole for the oil return.
-The I6 in general has the best exhaust note. ever.
