We were all expressing opinion's to answer the question in the thread title. Don't get your panties in a wad and start lashing out at people because they don't agree with you. As a result of your lashing out at people who choose the 300, I have to say your insecure about your own decision to go with the 400. If you were 100% confident with your choice, you wouldn't feel the need to run your mouth to people who think otherwise.

Owned a 300 now have a 400. Both are awesome cars/engines. OP - You wont be disapointed with either one. Test drive both, see which you like better, your the one making the decision here.

I'm bored, So I'm going to correct this guy's horrible grammar, spelling and punctuation...

P.S look out for the words in bold, As they're the corrections.

P.P.S I would give this guy an "F" if I were his English teacher.

Just a few points that i don't think seems to have cropped up in this thread. I might think abit differently to people but i'm not into the whole power thing. I just wanted a smooth looking coupe that looked good, was reliable, wasn't too hard on the fuel and i could easily DIY @ home without too much hassle.

- Maintenance on the sc4 seems to be alot harder to do than the sc3 eg. starter motor change.

- Also here in Aus. the sc3 has hardtop, electronic nothing (seats, steering col etc.) so less electrical hassles is a plus for me. probably not so relevant for you US guys.

- Fuel is better in city start/stop driving.

- SC3 parts availability across IS3/GS3/Supra. Particularly with the volumes in which the IS3 sold here means there is always some part floating around somewhere for a good price.

As a DIY guy who uses the SC as a daily A to B car and just want minimal fuss, soemthing that looks good and is quiet the SC3 does it for me

Irony, I'm also in Atlanta. Guys you will receive infractions. Personal attacks are against the rules here. I expect going forward everyone will STICK TO THE TOPIC and not to people.

Please everyone if there is a problem or issue, alert the mod team. Thanks.

p.s- some people might have English as a 2nd or 3rd language so please, ease up on being an English internet teacher.

got the sc400 as I wanted just silky smooth power and am no HP crazy. For now the sc400 has enough power and it should last for a long long time.

the sc400 was great deal with not good miles.. but the engine looked clean and brand new and started up fine.. it has 280,000 miles and its an everyday driver.. it still is as fast as brand new and nothing cosmetic is wrong either.. i dont like modding engines so its whatever you prefer..

I chose my 300 just because the maintenansce is a lot easier. I knew i'l have to do all the work my self.

Plus i owned mkIII before, so i like I6's
