x2, once you get a front mount it usually doesnt fit on anymore. That and the drivers side fender lining. haven't run either in a long time now. plus it's plastic, what can it protect?

also if you drive in the rain you will get crap in the alternator. i replaced mine last year. i dont know whether it was due to 160,000 miles or no undertray for 2 years.

It will make no difference.
You can go to any fabrication shop and have one custom made from aluminum

actually i foundout from alot research it serves a purpuse other then keepin the engine clean. toyota put it on for aerodynamics if this wasnt so . look how the bottom as seprate lines allowing air to pass smoothly undr the car.
just like the real race cars. they have a whole piece that looks exactly like the underside . very intresting though it does help trust me .

They're definitely put there for a reason. Expect more wind noise, more engine bay mess and worse gas mileage if you remove it.

uhm...no

put of a reason?...yes
worse gas mileage?...would you like to show proof prior to making such a statement

we dont drive rx-7's. if you remove the undertray on those cars they overheat. we dont have those issues.

lol, my turbo helps me overcome any aerodynamic issues....

and as for gas mileage... not only is that so negligible, would you even care?

The only noise you will probably hear in your cabin will be through the transmission tunnel from your noisy transmission, or if you have a sagging door hinge letting in air.
if you can hear any difference from removing the undershield, well then good day to you sir.

It might actually help. My trans get really hot, I can feel it through the trans tunnel, so removing the under tray might help cool the trans. btw, This a might people, just speculating.
