Hmmm. Well i just did my floor mats and had to fold the front ones a little just to get them to fit in the container, and now i can see creases where the dye didn't bond as well. How did you avoid that when you did the carpet? You must of had a very large container....

I moved it around every few days. It wont dye to dirt either... so they must be clean. Also anything that has a stain guard on it is tough... and some newer carpet has a plastic coating for stain resistance.. also wont work with that..

i wanna take my tan interior and make it jet blk. looks good tho

I see how this works for black, but anyone think this will work going from a grey to a darker grey? Also, how would I go from black to grey? SEM? just looking for suggestions...

Sorry to bump again.....how long did you leave this soak in the trash can? How many times did you drain and refill with hot water? Or did you just do it once and let it soak?

This didn't work very well for me. Lol. I ended up just using a bit of SEM to really get it black. After about a week it was navy blue, lol.
