Default TruDremz...I'm sorrry man

WE'RE HERE FOR YA BRO

TRU, dude man, I am sooooo sorry about what happened last night man. For those who don't know, he hit a biker last night (and from what i understand, it was on accident, not really anyone's fault). He and the biker are doin fine, but the SC is not so fine. There is a busted windsheild, messed up front bumper, and lots o scratches. However, there is some good coming out of this (we think/hope). He is going to try to get his parents to get him a body kit for his b-day, b/c he is prolly already gonna have to repaint the whole car, and since the front bumper is pretty much wasted, he might as well. Hopefully, everything will turn out ok for ya bro. He is planning to take pics today so..... Oh yeah, his SC can't be in the show on the 27th (obviously) now, but he is still gonna come and hit it up w/ the otha peeps.

Derek

BTW: Dude, i hope u don't get mad at me for posting this, but i thought it might be a lil hard for u to write it up after having to post pics and all. If i have anything wrong/missing, please correct it yo. All this means, is that were gonna have to have an extra amount of fun at the AL meet to forget about it all. Later yo

Wow.

My condolensces. I hope everyone involved is in the best of condition. That is really unfortunate. I was looking forward to seeing your ride at Montgomery - ah well. At least Tru will be able to make it - that is the best thing about this.

Best of luck - let me know if I can do anything to help out.

oh... i can still drag you back out to the house to check it out
so you can get up close and personal
but i went and picked up the police report today and i actually found out some good information

bikes are prohibited on sidewalks and crosswalks....
so he was in wrong.... if he needed to cross on teh cross walk... he would have had to get off and walk it across

so he was at wrong
even though im sure i would have hit him if he was walking it across too...but thats beside the point
anyway... hopefully i can get a cool paint job and maybe that body kit ive had my eye on
so good does come from bad
sweet ...... i just took some pics... ill get them developed...
ill also post a few i took at the beach of my car too .... so you can see it when it is clean
i mean my winsheild had a few dings in it already
so u know.... this is just helping me build up my perfect show car
its just kinda frustrating the way it happened and all
i really feel bad for the dude
oh well... ill let ya in on more later
im out
peace

Uh ok....even if he was walking across, you would have hit him anyways.
If I were your parents, I would get you driving lessons for your birthday. Be glad he wasnt walking across, your parents would be getting you soap on a rope and bail money for your birthday.

hahaha yeah...but even if he was walking across
the sign still would have said DONT WALK!!
so .... he still would have been at wrong
you gotta obey those traffic signs you know what i mean

so yah... if he was walking his bike across... and it said walk
i would have been at wrong
but if he rode it across and it said walk.... i still could have gotten around it because bikes are prohibited on cross walks
i just picked up the police report this morning

and just for a side note
my estimated speed was 999 MPH:eek:
OOOOOHHHH Beat that You twin turbo supra engine kids

oh yeah... and just for the record so no one worries over him
he was okay ... right after it happened he was walking around picking up his books from his book bag.....
only thing was a a few cuts on his elbow.... and a cut on his foot...
which bruised and the EMS bandaged everything up
he was able to walk home

i gave him my number and i offered to buy him dinner and a new bike.... so im just waitin on him to call me

just had to clear that up to let you know i wasnt some kind of bike hater or whatnot

Not sure what the laws are like in AL, but pedestrians always have the right-of-way in NC. May want to double check it. Also, there is the rule of contributory negligence.

Just a heads up.

Pedestrians always have right of way in CA too. If you hit a J-walker, you are still at fault. Hell if you hit a illegal Mexican running across Highway 5 you're still at fault.

150$? Maybe if its a ghetto trash kmart bike. Bikes are expensive as **** nowadays. (im not saying theres anything wrong with kmart bikes, I dont really see the point in buying an expensive bike.) Really though all the decent mountain bikes are like minimum 700-100$ (or so ive been told).
