Here's the deal. I drive a 1996 SC400.

I want to get the Motegi Racing SP10s in 18", but they are not listed when I input my car. They only have them at 17". Why would I not be able to put these at 18" when I can put others at 18"? The offset and all that mumbo-jumbo cannot be completely out of spec with my car, right?

What I'm trying to say is, according to Tire Rack, I can get these tires in 17"... NOT 18"... Why, oh why?

I'm a rim and tire noob, so you know... How credible is TireRack when it comes to picking compatibility.

Can I or can I not install these rims in my car?

Yes you can. Sometimes the computer system is wrong. You can call them and get the correct info.

Just use a bigger Lex like a gs or ls.. that should cut down on the restrictions.

Tire rack's way of finding wheels is so crappy. No everyone wants to be confined to crappy sizes and offsets.

Call them, its the easiest way.
