Reliabilty / aftermarket 92 sc300 w/ 1jz swap
I'm a noob and considering buying a 92 sc300 w/ a singled 1jz swap + 5spd man trans.. Im sure the seller has to be a member.. I was cursious about the relaibility of the car mainly the motor as a daily driver. I currently have a 540i so im already used to strict maintenance routine.. Its a single turbo running 18psi and he has the motor modded correctly.. ( to my knowledge) Which brings me to my other issue.. I've heard the 1jz motor may be hard to get parts to repair or further mod. Can anyone give me some more incite? Or what to look for or ask the seller? Thanks in advance!

All toyota cars are going to be very reliable, and the 1jzgte motor is no exception, I'm not sure what's all done to the motor or what kind of power its pushing, but I know you can push over 500hp on a stock 1jz motor. As far as parts and further modding, its not hard at all to find parts, www.supraforums.com has a wealth of information and parts for the 1jz.
Is the car in ohio and teal? If so, its over in the lexus cars forsale section.
