Default Some updated pics of my Soarer

for anyone interested........I installed a Canover Air Ride suspension and stored the TEIN kit for now......
I can easily raise or lower the car for any type of driving...
or parking needs....And now have either Sparco Racing rims
in 17 or 18" Linea Xs.......

Nice, another kitted Graphite Metallic SC/Soarer! Keep em coming guys, no such thing as too many Soarer pics . Soarer007, that looks like a mighty fast ride, especially with gun metal rims, menacing turbo plumbing, and that Blitz intercooler.

Is it just me or do you have two mufflers?

Why? If it's a Soarer you have the 1JZ-GTE, which is a straight-6 and only needs one muffler...

I noticed the rims in the top pic are different than the others... color looks different too.

I like the 'bling' factor on the top rims.

The SCs in the US have a single that splits into duals and the Soarer from Japan does too...even the factory bumper has notches for both tips......I prefer the dual mufflers anyway
and will probably keep it that way too.

I had the downpipe and full catback made by a local shop....
3" to a dual 2.5"........and a fake 3" cat. As for the mufflers...they are 3" thruout Hayama series we sell thru my shop.
The Canover kit runs about $3200.........complete.
(I have an extra Canover kit for sale I think)
thanks

Interesting. I wonder why they chose to go that route... thanks for the explaination.

Better symmetry and aesthetics are my guess. The X-pipe also reduces noise quite effectively doesn't it? I'm partial to the dual exhaust look, though it does make it a ****** when you're buying aftermarket exhaust systems and mufflers ($$$).

Actually an X pipe only works on V8 cars where the duals get an X installed between the two sides......With a straight 6 its a single that splits to a dual.....I did it more from the aesthetics point. But its easy when you just buy universal hi flow mufflers and have a local shop do all the work !!! and cost less too!
