Default 500whp, check! What to do next?

So I finally took this pig to the dynojet (92 SC300). I'm content with the numbers so far, but I would like to start planning for the next round of power mods and looking for some experienced advice. Basic setup details:
  • JDM 2JZGTE - Aristo
  • 750cc with Denso TT pump
  • Precision Billet 6265 .70ar/.68ar
  • Emanage Ultimate
  • Drewgo Mani

The best pull last night was 521whp @ 24 psi. That is more boost than I want to run though on pump gas and was pulling timing there for extra insurance. At about 22psi it makes a pretty consistent 500whp and spools fast. Power is very flat from 4k to 7k

The first thing I'm going to do is upgrade to an HKS DLI as you can see the ignition breakup ever so slightly on the pickup (gapped at .019). Doesn't register on the car though. Also, I was tuning off my LC1 wideband in the downpipe and not the dynojet one, so ignore the AFRs on the plots.

you can really see the ignition issue here.

I'm wondering if I should upgrade backhousings, move to cams (which?). I prefer a responsive turbo and not a laggy bastard as this is a street car, so a wide powerband is much more fun to drive. I'd like to move closer to 600whp without having to really cram the boost, thus making the setup as efficient as possible. Fuel I have covered as I'll be upgrading to a dual pump/feed setup as soon as I figure out how to make use of them.

I've already ordered the HKS DLI...

Consider opening up the exhaust if you haven't done so already. The back pressure will limit the differential pressure across the turbine thereby limiting boost and power.

Congrats on the current numbers.

I think I'm going with 264s as I won't be revving it too high as its a street car, not a race car. The exhaust is 3' from the turbine outlet to the rear Y which splits into 2 2.5 out to the HKS cans. As for the pressure differential, that was my biggest concern about the .68 back housing, but I don't see the top end losing any power yet....we'll see after the cams.

Glad you guys like the pic at www.scupra.com

I would probably move to bigger exhaust with that kind of power. Thats the same size piping I have and I'm making 200 less hp than you. I would probably just go 4" maybe to dual 3" if you want to keep the duals.
