I use my SC for autox and HPDEs. I am building a dedicated road racing car this winter so my SC will soon be retired from track duty for the most part! Check out the soarercentral forums, there are a few threads on there that have some pretty damn nice track soarers!

What kind of "tracking" do you mean? Road racing, autocross, drifting, drag racing....?

There are a few time-attack Supra's that do VERY well:

The SC and Supra are indeed "GT" cars but that's not to say that they can't be made to be fairly nimble and fun Road Race machines - it just depends on how much you want to compromise the cars road manners.

While the Supra/SC300 weight in at 3600lbs, that's still right around modern day M3's and 200lbs lighter than a GT-R. You can get the SC down to 3,300lbs without too much hassle once you start pulling out all the luxury crap, and then you have a 3,300lb car with some great suspension geometry/design and 255 front tires/275 rear (275 front if you run some vertex fenders). The car is a bit nose heavy, yet, but a well balanced and sorted suspension be able to make the car feel pretty balanced.
