10k or 8k HID's?
Well...My current 8k hid kits are goin bad.
Gettin a deal on some decent hid's, 50 bucks for a brand new kit...
But i cant decide... going with 10k hid's or 8k??
Any suggestions? 95 pearl white sc4 with yellow fogs.

My SC is diamond white as well and I have 6000K's. After having them for a year and a bit I'm thinking they're too blue. I'd recommend you go with 6000K's or even 4300's, but if its between 8 and 10 go with the 8's.

6k will have the highest light output. 4.8 is closest to daylight, but still has a tad bit of a "yellow" tint to it. 8k and 10k are way to blue and make the car look a bit on the "cheap" side.
I have 6k on my SC and its the perfect balance of light out put and color.

take your lights out, put them in the oven at 350 deg for 4 minutes, pull them apart and work them with some plast-x. re-assemble, install 6k hid's, and you will have excellent light output with out too much blue tint.

Highest I'd go is 6K. Anything higher is just junk.... jmo
I used to like purple/blue color but once you go 4300K you can't go back. You can see so much better and doesn't make your car look cheap.
