Question How to Spark plugs

I bought a 92 SC300 and need info on changing spark plugs. Do I need to take off the upper part of the mamifold to change the middle plugs? It looks like a pain in the A to do.

Any trick would be appreciated....

No tricks, you DO have to take off the throttle body. A PITA, yes, but necessary. It turns a 30 minute job into an hour and a half.

i have a first generation GS and had my sparks changed about 1 month ago at a car mechanic place. he had all the tools and i watched him the whole time. took him nearly 2 hours. i must tell you this. DON"T try this at home unless you are ready for a big headache. that air intake thingy that goes across the top has a bunch of hoses and stuff that you have to disconect and you have to disconect the accelration cable too. if you do plan on doing this at home just make sure you plug back in all the pipes and everything. i think there was like 10+ small little pipes. its a pretty tuff job. i recomend a car shop thats familar with supra, gs, sc engines to do it.

It is a PITA to change the plugs. First time I did it, it took me an hour and a half. Now i can do it in about 45 min.

i don't see what's so hard about pulling tubes and replacing them to make the job easier, use sticky labels and label each tube or connector for what it is

The only real hard part is getting the two coolant lines pulled from the underside of the throttle body.
LOOOONG nose pliers and a lot of cursing usually does the trick.
