F1SC is brand new blower. I got it for $2700. I was the first few F1SC on a Cobra. Most of the F1SC went to professional racer. I think F1SC is overkill for the 1UZ. P1SC or D1SC will be perfect for 1UZ

Default yes..the internal gears

Yeah, I was talking about the internal gears too. I know the SC is belt driven to give more power to the engine. But the internals of swift supercharger is also gear driven and silent. The internals are gears..not belt driven.

ATI's are pretty loud aren't they?

intercooler, plus supercharger, and all the hardware for 8K? is that your price?

Currently i am talking to my Hi-Pro mechanic about using my car as for R&D for SC. My mechanic is a force induction specialist. Turbos, SC, NOS, ECU, Fuel Managements & Electronics. He is very very good. He knows his stuffs.

Anyway, i told him this what our 1UZ kit should be:

1. Easy to install
2. Well Tuned ECU
3. Clean looking
4. Quality of the kit
5. Great prices

I really think the kit would be around $4,000-$6,000 or perhaps less. As for my car, i am aiming for 15-18 psi on my stock motor. I asked him about ECE? He said no problem. I also asked about fuel supply. He said no problem. The only problem he have is time. He is very busy.

Default what is ECE?

are you talking about california emissions?
Also will the ATI supercharge run silently?

sorry, i mean ECU. The new self contained version of the ATI are more quiet than the old. The belt driven blower like Powerdyne is quieter, but like i said before. Belt driven are not too reliable. Any SC will not be silent as the stock engine. Even SRT Silent SC will have some noise. Even turbo will have noise during spooling and blow off gases.

Wont you need to lower the compression ratio to run boost like that ?

Giro,

Since our engine is very strong, the new way of force induction for "STREET" use would be high compression and low boost. High compression like our stock engine will have good low end torque and power. If you lower the compression, we would not see or feel the power until later in the rpm. High rpm power is good for race car, but not for street use.

Even so, a strong engine does not mean that the stock headgaskets can take such abuse. If metal headgaskets were used you might as well get some slightly thicker ones to lower the compression while you were at it. And slightly lowering the compression would not be noticed on a blown 4 liter v8.

LOL Clint

---------

Want low end torque and high end power at the same time? Don't use a supercharger

I think Scott's stock compression SC3 with a T60-1 has lots of both. Runs stock compression and low boost (10-12psi)... makes full boost before 3000rpms; and thats WAY before a centrifugal unit would unless you had a clutch setup on it where it spooled fast and kept the compressor from spinning too much at higher rpms

Actually, since the BTM, Scott's been well past 12psi....
