Default Fixing Bulbs out in A/C Display or Radio

What options are there?

Have you guys been able to find the correct bulb color and replace these?
Is soldering involved or do these twist into place if there even exists a good replacement.

Thanks

Youre going to have to learn to solder. Tip. Do not buy the radio shack bulbs, they will be too dim. Go with either proper LED or OEM bulbs.

Just wondering, Where can those OEM bulbs for the AC/Radio (Sodering type) be purchased? Apparently, The dealership does not sell them seperately, They'll just tell you to replace the entire unit. I actually had to buy replacement back lighting from Radio Shack and my gripe with 'em, is that they're too bright...You can literally see where the 3 bulbs are at behind the climiate control's LCD screen.

The search button is a killer feature around here.

Rewind time to 2003 and you'd had your answer nearly 7 years ago with a quick search https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-...-fixed-it.html

OR (1) go led with a DIY attempt that will spot up or (2) a nice, slick, evenly lit professional build from www.lextech.org

I personally like the blue/white http://lextech.org/osCommerce/produc...0c27b43a2ddbe9
