No Beep

I couldn't care less about the beep. What I would really like is for my sunroof to close with one touch of a button like my 330i did. Gotta hand it to the German's on this one. With the SC you have to hold it the whole time and then when it stops half way closed, press and hold again till it closes completely. I know its a "safety feature" but good god it is SOOOOOOO ANNOYING!!!!!

i wish the crap beeped wen u leave just the cloth part opened... i always leave that thing opened and blac car black interior = hot as hell!!!

Lexus Started doing the "one touch close." I don't recall the year, but my 2000 GS has a one touch open and close but my 1995 SC doesn't. Also no beep. Sigh.

97 sc300. No beep. my car has been rained in but with the cloth closed. No damage was done to the interior

Unfortunately I dont think the SC ever got the one touch close feature. Mine is a 2000 SC300 and it uses the same method as 92-99. Also, no beep.

I wish there was a way to make both windows one touch up/down and one touch open/close sunroof without installing a whole new alarm system with a power window module.

i had a Red GST and it had a sunroof... red eclipse with sunroof=girl car. i was asking for it! so i had a body shop shave it off... has anyone done this to the sc? i concidered it but would like to see wat it looks like without it. i hate sunroofs

I never had this happen to me. I always check if all my windows are closed. The one thing I hate is there no warning if you leave the map light on. I done this couple times, when I turn the map light on and forgot to turn it off and walk away. There goes my battery. I dont realize it until the next night I drive! Sometimes I do realize during the day but rarely.

my car just beeps when I get out whether my sunroof is open or not :P then again my sunroof is ALWAYS open because I never park outside my house even during the day I just pull into the garage.

I left mine open one day and it started to sprinkle. but it wasn't too bad.

Lexus should have NEVER put a Sunroof on the Sc, it causes/leads to future problems. I never open mine...95' Sc400.
